Welcome to Smart Menu Planner. By creating an account or using this service, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully. Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your information.
Smart Menu Planner is a personal meal-planning tool operated by Task One LLC ("we," "us," or "our") that lets you store recipes, plan weekly menus, and generate shopping lists. The service is currently provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid features or subscriptions in the future. If we do, we will give you advance notice and you will never be charged without your explicit consent.
You must be at least 13 years old to use this service. By using Smart Menu Planner, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Please contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
You retain ownership of the recipes and other content you create. When you choose to make a recipe public, you grant Task One LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content on the platform. You can remove public recipes at any time, which revokes this license going forward.
You agree not to post content that is illegal, harmful, or that infringes the intellectual property rights of others. See Section 9 for our copyright policy.
Smart Menu Planner offers a feature that lets you upload photos of recipes. Photos are transmitted to a third-party service provider for processing and are immediately discarded — they are never stored on our servers. That processing is subject to the third-party provider's usage policies. You agree not to abuse this feature (e.g., by automated bulk uploading or attempting to circumvent usage limits).
Smart Menu Planner is strictly an organizational tool designed to assist with personal meal planning and recipe management. We do not provide medical, nutritional, or dietary advice. Any nutritional data or ingredient information generated, stored, or displayed on the platform is for informational purposes only and is not guaranteed to be accurate. You are solely responsible for ensuring that the meals you plan meet your specific dietary needs, allergies, and health conditions. Always consult with a qualified healthcare provider or registered dietitian before making any significant changes to your diet.
Smart Menu Planner may offer recipes, meal ideas, or content generated by artificial intelligence (AI), as well as automated nutritional estimates. By using these features, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
AI-Generated Recipes are "As Is": Recipes generated by AI are experimental. We do not guarantee that the ingredients, measurements, or cooking instructions are accurate, safe, or will result in a palatable dish. You must use your own judgment, common sense, and standard food safety practices (especially regarding cooking temperatures for meats and food storage) when preparing these recipes.
Nutritional Data are Estimates: Any calorie counts, macronutrient breakdowns, or nutritional data provided are strictly automated estimates. Actual nutritional values will vary significantly based on the specific brands of ingredients you use, exact portion sizes, and your preparation methods.
Assumption of Risk: You rely on AI-generated recipes and automated nutritional information solely at your own risk. Smart Menu Planner is not responsible for any adverse reactions, foodborne illness, or failure to meet specific dietary, health, or weight-loss goals.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED ACCESS OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE FREE OF ERRORS. WE MAY PERFORM MAINTENANCE, UPDATES, OR MAKE CHANGES TO FEATURES AT ANY TIME WITHOUT NOTICE.
We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will respond promptly to valid notices of alleged copyright infringement.
If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied or uploaded to Smart Menu Planner in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please submit a written notification to our designated copyright agent at our contact page containing the following:
We reserve the right to remove content alleged to be infringing without prior notice, at our sole discretion, and without liability to you. In appropriate circumstances, we will also terminate a user's account if they are determined to be a repeat infringer.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, at our sole discretion.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TASK ONE LLC (OPERATING AS SMART MENU PLANNER) SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE) THE SERVICE.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes.
